As I walked through the door after a long day at work a few nights back, I smelled the wonderful aroma of pasta in the kitchen. Dan was working his magic and made a wonderful supper for us both (Thank you honey). We sat down together and enjoyed our meal. Afterwards, it was off to the computer to check the emails that flowed through that today. One email in particular stuck out more than the rest; it was from my mother stating “When I saw this, I thought of you. Please take the time and watch this video. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.”
As any photographer will tell you, we can view the world differently. We can see beauty in ordinary items and turn them into a work of art (or try to). Unfortunately, we cannot live in that world and forget sometimes… We forget to open our eyes and heart to the beauty around us in everything and everyone. Be grateful for the day you have today, be grateful for the people that touch our lives in every moment of everyday.
